We are so fortunate to have a diverse community of vegan restaurants and shops in Charlotte! Here's a list of some of our favorites. There are tons of options for the people in your life that like to cook and/or eat great vegan food. 

Gift Certificates to Local Vegan Restaurants  

Plant Joy - our sister business - offers certificates online and in person! Treat your human to some of CLT's tastiest vegan noshes. Y'all already know where the Nourish gift certificates are, but we'll drop them here anyway :)

Sanctuary Bistro - a staff fav date night spot - offers gift certificates online and in-store as well! If you haven't checked this California-hailing spot yet - you absolutely should! 

Gift Certificates to Local Vegan-Friendly Stores 

The Greener Apple - long-running store in Plaza Midwood (part of Book Buyers, and moving soon to Eastway Crossing) has the best selection of vegan snacks in town. And a full rack of all the new vegan cookbooks, as well!

Savory Spice Shop - from black salt to Calabrian chiles, Savory has it all. Fresh ground, locally sourced, and knowledgably staffed, this is our favorite source for spices in CLT! 

Freshlist - local goodness from the region's farms delivered to your doorstep? YES PLEASE! Team FL keeps the Nourish kitchen stocked with farm fresh goodness, but you can also get home delivery, AND they have gift certificates!

Tip Top Daily Market - fabulous and well labeled selection of vegan snacks, great bottle shop, and a good spot to shop Dare Vegan Cheese, a gift certificate to Tip Top is a great idea! 

A Really Great Knife for Choppin' Veggies

Chef Julia's favorite tool for brussels splittin' and brocco-choppin'! Take a gander here. Not local, but worth the dollars, this knife has a great weight to it and is very well made. 

Locally Made Vegan Cheese 

Viva Raw - our old roomies make some of the tastiest vegan cheese in town! Grab a wheel or two and treat yourself, or your vegan buddy, to some aged cashew goodness. Our fav? The Fennel Chipotle!

Dare Vegan Cheese - can be found at Tip Top Market, hails from Asheville, and is our cheese of choice at Plant Joy. With seasonal rotating flavors and amazing staples like their Roasted Garlic Brie, it is a must try! 

Artisanal Mushrooms 

Hiram and crew at Urban Gourmet Farms are our favorite mushroom purveyors in town! Find them weekly at the Matthews Farmer's Market, or order delivery through Freshlist.
