Lending A Hand - our favorite organizations to donate time and money to!
We've been asked several times recently whom we recommend for donations - food, money and time - so we thought we'd get a list together for any fabulous, generous humans out there hoping to help those in need. THANK YOU!

The Bulb- y'all know we love these folx! Alicia and crew move SO much donated food thru multiple markets around town and can even take SNAP benefits now. They're amazing, and have a robust volunteer system to help get you started!

MAFS or Mutual Aid Free Store- one of the groups providing support to former residents of Tent City, these people do it all - food donations, clothing pop ups, text set ups and supply drops - they're masters at ensuring anyone experiencing homelessness has the easiest time possible.

Feed the Movement- continues to have tough conversations about CMPD and police forces in general, pushing for funds that would typically go to incarcerate people to community support instead. They're always looking for food and monetary donations and can house small appliances and kitchen supplies, as well!

We're also big big fans of those working to help our animal companions as well! Cotton Branch Farm Sanctuary are long time pals of ours, and they continue to work hard to keep the large group of farm animals on their sanctuary healthy and happy. Volunteering on the farm for a day is a gorgeous way to spend a Saturday, no doubt!

Changing Hearts Farm is another spot we love - and they have regularly planned volunteer days, so it's easy to get in the mix. Love on some cows and goats and pigs and more - and it's an easy drive, as they're in Shelby.

There are so very many more organizations doing amazing, ground breaking, incredible things in and near town - but these 5 are the ones we keep going back to with our time, money and love. Check them out! And thanks for caring :)
